Do you use Salesforce.com to store documents such as marketing material, presentations or RFPs? Are you finding that you need more space? Do you find that 5MB limit annoying?

Salesforce.com Partner Appirio officially announced the release of Cloud Storage for Salesforce.com. Cloud Storage from Appirio lets you expand your storage and file size limits without compromising usability. It was designed to seamless integrate with Salesforce so that notes and attachments are stored using Amazon’s Simple Storage Services (S3) instead. This relieves the headaches of companies who are always hitting their storage limits on Salesforce.

I’m not sure how the pricing compares. (i.e. buying this application vs. purchasing additional storage space on Salesforce.com) However, it does allow you to storage files larger than 5MB which is not possible otherwise.
